My hopes for this season are falling apart. Eaton's finger is hurting now. And the decision for RA Dickey to be the 5th guy makes me want to vomit. If I hear one more person utter that the Red Sox and the Cubs are "cursed," they will suffer severe consequences.

At least the Red Sox (pre-2004) and the Cubs have won pennants and have won World Series. What do the Rangers (plus their previous incarnation as the Washington Senators) have to show for over 40 years? Nothing, just three division series wins.

To hell with a billy goat, Steve Bartman and the Bambino. Try being a Rangers fan, and those Red Sox and Cubs fans will crawl back into their caves and say, "You know, we do have it easy compared to those guys." I'm sick of all their whining about being "cursed." I would give anything to be just one game away from even going to a World Series.

I just watched your IU press conference and you stated that you took the job because you feel you can win championships at Indiana. I must assume you plan on scrapping the offensive philosophy you used at OU, or are you blaming the players at OU for the anemic offense?
Maybe you think you'll have a more talented pool of players to work with at IU. Given your track record with All American caliber recruits at OU, I don't think that's what you should count on. Maybe those McDonald's All-Americans at IU will buy into your system to the point that they will embrace the 8 minute scoring drought.
